FONTYS PROFESSORSHIPS

Fontys, a University of Applied Sciences, regularly asked me to create professional portraits of their professors for the past few years. For these shoots, I specially made a background, painted in beige to give the portraits a warm yet professional look. After each session, every professor is given time to review the photos and personally choose the images in which they feel most comfortable and truly themselves. I received many kind messages afterward, with professors expressing how happy they were with my approach, the time and energy I invested, and the guidance I provided, including subtle retouching and help with different poses, from businesslike to more approachable.
